Model VPE25F25AL is designed for DN25 pipework with an Rp 1" female thread (union connection, EN 10226-1) and covers a flow range of 339–2,500 l/h at a differential pressure of 30–600 kPa. The body is made of lead-free DZR brass (CW602N), and the valve is equipped with measuring ports for checking the operating differential pressure without the need for dismantling.

Thanks to the self-balancing diaphragm, separate balancing valves on branches are no longer required, simplifying both the design and commissioning of variable flow systems with inverter-controlled pumps. The differential pressure controller is specially designed to withstand operation in systems with contaminated water – it has successfully passed testing at an iron oxide concentration of 900 ppm for 100,000 opening cycles.

The valve is compatible with a wide range of Honeywell actuators (thermoelectric M400/M800, motorised M6410/M7410, modulating M4100/ML7xx) and meets the requirements of a third-party verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2.

Features and benefits

  • 3-in-1 integrated valve: differential pressure controller, flow presetting and control valve in one body eliminate the need for balancing valves.
  • Constant flow regardless of pressure fluctuations: valve authority ≈ 1; the flow remains constant even when the system operating differential pressure changes.
  • Measuring ports for differential pressure: allow verification that the valve is operating within its working range, without dismantling the valve assembly.
  • Adjustable flow range (presetting): the rotary scale with positions 1–9 allows the maximum flow to be limited; the linear characteristic ensures precise control across the entire range.
  • Resistance to contaminated water: the special shape of the differential pressure controller minimises friction of moving parts; the valve was tested at 900 ppm Fe₂O₃ for 100,000 cycles.
  • Easy maintenance: the internal element (control valve + DPCV) can be removed, cleaned and reinstalled without the need to replace the entire valve assembly.
  • Linear flow characteristic: in combination with a heat exchanger, it creates a linear control loop; the characteristic can be reprogrammed to equal percentage in the actuator.
  • EPD certificate: third-party verified Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2.
