The automatic backwash unit provides automatic cleaning of the filter screen in Resideo Braukmann backwashing drinking water filters. Backwashing is carried out by opening and closing the drain valve at set intervals, and it can also be started outside the interval. The 5 Nm torque version is intended for F76S, HS10S, F78TS and F74CS / FK74CS filters in sizes 1 1/2"–2". The interval setting is retained even in the event of a power failure, and if a power failure occurs during backwashing, the actuator safely closes the valve using energy stored in the backup capacitor.
