Honeywell Thera-6 thermostatic heads are temperature-controlled proportional regulators without auxiliary energy. The thermostatic head, in combination with a thermostatic valve (TRV), regulates room temperature by controlling the flow of heating water into the heating device. TRVs are installed in water heating systems at the inlet or (less commonly) at the outlet connection of radiators or other heating devices. The heads comply with European standards EN215.

The Thera 6 T301920W0 thermostatic head is supplied with a separate sensor connected via a 2m capillary. A separate sensor is recommended in cases where the head is not accessible for free air circulation. The sensor measures the room temperature, and the head opens the connected valve accordingly, thus controlling the amount of water flowing into the radiator. This smoothly maintains the room temperature at the set level. Thera-6 thermostatic heads are suitable for most TRVs and radiator inlets with a connection thread of M30 × 1.5 and 11.5 mm.
