Honeywell V5833A2092 is a compact DN25 three-way mixing valve with a linear cone plug and pressure balancing. It is used to control the flow of hot or chilled water in electronically controlled heating and cooling systems. The pressure balancing ensures that the close-off pressure matches the system pressure, even without an oversized actuator.
The V5833A2092 is primarily intended for fan coil units, small reheaters and recoolers in commercial buildings – offices, hotels, healthcare facilities or schools. It operates with water or water with added glycol (max. 50%), making it suitable for systems with frost protection as well. The valve is installed in the return line of the system and controls the flow ratio between the controlled branch (port A) and the bypass branch (port B).
The valve is supplied with an adjusting cap that allows manual positioning of the plug without an actuator connected. This is useful during system filling or during the initial heating up or cooling down of the building during the construction phase – without the need to have the control system available. The cap is only removed when the actuator is installed.

The valve is designed for small Honeywell electric linear actuators with a 6.5 mm stroke – for example M7410E, M6410C or ML7435E. The actuators are mounted directly onto the valve without tools. For a nominal close-off pressure of 600 kPa, a 300 N actuator is sufficient; for 1,600 kPa, a 400 N actuator is required.
Yes. The V5833A three-way valve requires three connection sets, which must be ordered separately. For a DN25 connection with male thread, use the AC-25T set; for female thread, use the AC-25TF set. Each set includes a union nut, connection fitting and seal.
The valve must be installed in the system return line, not in the flow line. The stem must not point downwards. The tightening torque for the connections is 25–30 Nm. A minimum clear space of 200 mm must be left above the actuator for easy actuator installation and removal. The adjusting cap is only removed when fitting the actuator.
The water quality must comply with the requirements of VDI 2035. The valve is suitable for water and water with up to 50% glycol. Other media (steam, oil, aggressive liquids) are not permitted.
