The Meibes screwed expansion compensator with protective and guiding cover is designed for heating systems and sanitary installations, as well as pipe installations for the transport of non-aggressive media. Compensating sleeves protect against the formation of cracks or overload of soldered and sealed joints due to thermal expansion. They prevent excessive stress on pipe supports and noises caused by expansion in pipe installations. The sleeve material is made of high-quality brass. There are connections on both sides for soldering. It can withstand up to 130°C without any issues. The maximum heating temperature during soldering is 600°C!
