The pressure reducing valve protects hot water tanks and other equipment from excessive pressure. It is typically installed before the equipment to reduce the incoming pressure that threatens them. It is used with washing machines, beverage dispensers, dosing devices, high-pressure cleaners, and laboratory equipment. The valve compensates and optimizes the pressure in the system, prevents pressure fluctuations, and thus prevents damage to the system and equipment. Additionally, it saves water consumption.

The valve has an integrated dirt trap (mesh size 0.25 mm). All materials used are corrosion-resistant. The valve is made from a dezincification-resistant red bronze alloy. The seal is made from an ageing-resistant elastomer.

The input pressure is adjusted by turning the handle. To decrease, turn in the - direction, to increase pressure, turn in the + direction. The valve is factory set to a pressure of 4 bar.

At full flow, there is a pressure drop of 1.1 bar. Flow rate is 2.3 m3/h.
