R32 flammable refrigerant leak detector for heat pumps Evikon E2610-HFC-NC

The gas concentration sensor (gas detector) is designed to detect and provide early warning of a hazardous (explosive) concentration of the monitored refrigerant. The sensor is suitable for detecting refrigerant leaks from refrigeration equipment, air conditioning systems and heat pumps. 

The sensor is equipped with two-stage signalling – visual (LED) and audible (85 dB). Two output relays with changeover contacts can be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. The set switching points are: Relay 1 = 200 ppm, Relay 2 = 500 ppm. 

Initial calibration

A temperature-compensated, durable semiconductor sensor is used for detection. The sensor service life is more than 5 years. The sensor is non-selective = calibrated to R32 -> it also responds to other refrigerants (R-12, R-123, R-125, R-134a, R-143, R-22, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R1234yf and others), flammable gases, solvent vapours and cleaning agents. The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m², 5-6 m radius.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated and an English calibration certificate is included in the package. 

Test button

The detector is equipped with a test button that initiates the sensor self-diagnostics. The diagnostics check the electrical response of the sensor and after 64 seconds the device returns to stable measurement. The diagnostics do not activate the relays.
