Regin MM6-24/D is a min/max signal selector that compares up to 6 analogue input signals 0–10 V DC and passes the lowest value to the minimum output and the highest value to the maximum output. It is used as an auxiliary module in measurement and control systems, typically in zoned HVAC and heating control systems.

Where the product is used

The MM6-24/D is used in multi-zone control systems where the zone with the lowest demand for heating or cooling is to determine the setpoint for the main system. Another typical application is minimum temperature limitation in liquid-coupled heat recovery systems.

The module has a compact housing for DIN rail mounting, so it can be easily integrated into an existing control panel alongside other measurement and control components. It requires no adjustment – its function is fixed by the hardware.

Up to 6 inputs, 2 independent outputs

You can connect any number of 0–10 V DC signals to inputs 1 to 6 (from two to six). Unused inputs are left disconnected and are not included in the evaluation. The module selects both the minimum and maximum from the connected signals in parallel – both outputs can be used simultaneously.

The deviation of the output signal from the input signal is less than ±3%, so the output can be fed directly to another controller without any additional signal conditioning.

No setup required, plug-and-play

The module has no switches, potentiometers or configuration software. Once the 24 V AC supply and input signals are connected, it starts operating immediately. Power consumption is 3 W, so even a smaller power supply can handle it together with the other control components.

Technical parameters:

  • Supply voltage: 24 V AC ±15%, 50–60 Hz
  • Power consumption: 3 W
  • Input signals: 6× 0–10 V DC (unused inputs are left unconnected)
  • Output signals: 2× 0–10 V DC (minimum and maximum)
  • Output-to-input deviation: less than ±3%
  • Operating temperature: 0–50 °C
  • Storage temperature: −40–50 °C
  • Ambient humidity: max. 90% RH, non-condensing
  • Protection rating: IP20
  • Mounting: DIN rail
  • Dimensions: 53 × 85 × 74 mm
  • Compliance: CE, EMC according to EN 50081-1 and EN 50082-1

Frequently asked questions

Typically in multi-zone heating and cooling systems where a common source is to respond to the zone with the highest or lowest demand. You connect the signals from the zone controllers to the inputs and feed the minimum or maximum output to the main controller. Another use is in heat recovery systems, where the module monitors the minimum liquid temperature.

No. The module works with 2 to 6 inputs. Unused inputs are left open-circuit and are not included in the minimum and maximum comparison.

Yes. Both 0–10 V DC outputs operate independently and can be used simultaneously – for example, the minimum can be fed to the heating control and the maximum to the cooling control or overtemperature protection.

No. The MM6-24/D has no adjustment elements or configuration software. Simply mount it on a DIN rail, connect the 24 V AC supply, and wire the input and output signals – the module starts operating immediately.

The deviation of the output signal from the selected input signal (minimum or maximum) is less than ±3%. For standard HVAC control applications, this is sufficient accuracy, and the output can be fed directly to another controller.
