Regmet DZ2 Flood Sensor is designed for signalling fault conditions (e.g., water leakage) in operations of exchange stations, boiler rooms, and similar facilities. The flood sensor is powered by a direct current voltage of 24VAC / 24VDC and includes output terminals of the open emitter and open collector type. Therefore, the signalling can be switched to the positive or negative pole of the power supply voltage. The flood sensor is intended for DIN rail mounting. Suitable sensing probes are DS probes.

Function

Upon connecting the probe to the sensor's input and joining the probe's electrodes, the red LED on the front of the sensor lights up, and the outputs are activated or deactivated. The state of the outputs (activation/deactivation) is determined by switching the jumper to position A or B. The setting jumpers are accessible after removing the right side cover.
