The IMI RTL temperature limiter limits the temperature of the return water coming back from the end heating element or from the end of underfloor heating. When used for underfloor heating, it is designed for smaller rooms with an area of up to 15 m². It can also be used for a combination of radiator and underfloor heating.

It is not recommended to install the limiter near the underfloor heating manifold or anywhere else where it could be affected by excessive temperature. In such a case, it would remain permanently closed. Therefore, the set value on the limiter must not be set lower than the temperature around the limiter.

The temperature is set using a thermostatic head, on which the desired value is adjusted by turning. The temperature of the flowing medium then transfers to the sensor. If it is too high, the limiter closes the flow and waits for the temperature to drop.
