It is important to detect leaks of both previously used chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and today's hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). Leaks of these gases have a negative impact on the environment and the formation of the ozone layer. In the event of a leak, refrigerant can also accumulate in enclosed spaces to toxic levels. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure early warning of leaks using a detector.
Hydrocarbon refrigerants tend to sink because they are heavier than air. Therefore, refrigerant detectors should be installed near the floor, close to potential leak points. The recommended coverage area for one detector is 80...120m2, which corresponds to a radius of approximately 5...6m.
Refrigerant detectors have a wide range of applications, from kitchens and restaurants to cold storage, warehouses, supermarkets, and not least individual hotel rooms with air conditioning.
The EVIKON E2611-W-HFC detector is equipped with a two-stage alarm with outputs to switching relays. It does not have its own light and sound alarm. The E2608 series detectors are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V.
Made of white ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. The sensor's lifespan is more than 10 years.
Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law states that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 12 months. Calibration can only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.
Do not hesitate to contact us for recalibration!
The sensor is designed to detect refrigerants:
R-12, R-123, R-125, R-134a, R-143, R-22, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, etc.
The detector is factory-calibrated with refrigerant R-410a.
Tip: Get automatically notified of the statutory calibration date with the service www.kalibrovat.cz
