Danfoss accessories are a kit designed for ASV-M and ASV-I balancing valves. The kit is used to replace the standard shut-off plugs with measuring nipples, which allow a measuring instrument to be connected and flow to be checked directly at the valve without the need to drain the system.

• 2× Rectus type measuring nipple (quick coupling)
• 1× mounting plate

Application

The kit is intended for Danfoss ASV-M and ASV-I valves in heating and cooling system balancing installations. The measuring nipples are fitted in place of the shut-off plugs on the ASV-M valve and allow:

• Connection of a measuring instrument (e.g. Danfoss PFM) to verify flow in the supply line
• Measurement of differential pressure across the valve
• Setting and balancing the flow in the heating or cooling circuit

Warning: The shut-off plugs may only be replaced with measuring nipples if there is no medium (heating water) in the system.
