The Siemens ASZ6.6 spindle heater is an accessory for Siemens SKC series actuators, designed for applications with media temperatures below 0 °C. It is installed between the valve and the actuator and ensures that the valve spindle remains free of frost even under demanding operating conditions. This component is suitable for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems where reliable valve operation must be ensured even at low media temperatures. For safety reasons, the heater is powered by AC 24 V. When used, neither the actuator bracket nor the valve spindle may be insulated, in order to maintain air circulation.
