The QAP 1030/UFH cable temperature sensor is used for measuring and limiting the floor temperature in underfloor heating systems. It is suitable for use with controllers or thermostats that do not have a sensor input separated from the 230 VAC power supply.

The sensor measures the temperature of the floor structure. As the temperature changes, the electrical resistance on the sensor also changes. The measured data is sent to the controller or thermostat for further evaluation. The sensor itself consists of a 4 m cable and an NTC 3 kOhm type sensing sensor.
