Passive sensor for measuring air temperature in air handling ducts. It consists of a two-part casing and a flexible capillary, which is active along its entire length.

For use in ventilation, air conditioning, and heating equipment such as:

• Supply or exhaust air temperature sensor
• Limiting sensor, e.g., for restricting the minimum supply air temperature
• Reference sensor, e.g., for adjusting the desired room temperature value in relation to the outdoor temperature
• Measuring sensor, e.g., for measuring the value of a regulated variable into the control system

The temperature is measured by a sensor whose electrical resistance changes depending on the temperature change. The measured data is sent for further processing to the appropriate connected unit.
