Passive sensor for measuring air temperature in HVAC ducts. It consists of a two-part casing and a flexible capillary, which is active along its entire length.

For use in ventilation, air conditioning, and heating systems such as:

Supply or exhaust air temperature sensor
Limiting sensor, e.g., for restricting the minimum supply air temperature
Reference sensor, e.g., for adjusting the desired room temperature value based on outdoor temperature
Measuring sensor, e.g., for measuring the value of a controlled variable into the control system

The temperature is measured by a sensor whose electrical resistance changes depending on the temperature change. The measured data is sent for further processing to the appropriate connected unit.
