Pressure-independent control valve (PICV), angle pattern, designed for two-pipe heating systems. Thanks to the integrated differential pressure controller, it provides automatic dynamic hydraulic balancing without the need to install separate balancing valves on the branches.

Compatible actuators and heads

The valve is compatible with RTN.. thermostatic heads, STA.. and STP.. thermoelectric actuators, and SSA.. and SFA../18 electromotoric actuators.

Notes on installation and operation

  • Without an actuator, the valve is normally open (NO)
  • During flushing or pressure testing, the valve must be open – strong pressure surges may damage a closed PICV
  • The water must not contain organic substances; recommended water quality according to VDI 2035
  • The valve is maintenance-free; in the event of a fault, the complete unit must always be replaced
  • Unauthorised modifications or opening of the valve will void the warranty
