The QPM1164 channel sensor from the BASIC series is used for measuring air quality and its temperature in ducts and channels. The sensor monitors the CO2 level and temperature in the flowing air in ventilation or air conditioning systems. The sensing is based on the principle of optical infrared absorption measurement.

This sensor is not intended as a warning safety signal for smoke or gas leaks.
