Emergency thermostat with a single-pole changeover contact. The general use of the thermostat is in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Additionally, the thermostat can be used as a fire protection device in piping systems and systems with heat sources. The thermostat can be used as a pocket, surface-mounted, or wall-mounted unit.

Upon reaching the set temperature value, the thermostat switches the connection from contacts 11-12 to alarm 11-13. Resetting must be done manually using the knob under the cover. The shutdown temperature setting is also done under the cover.
