The Siemens RDE 410/EH room controller is primarily used for regulating electric heating and electric underfloor heating. However, it can also be used for thermoelectric drives, zone valves, gas and oil burners for boilers, heat pumps, and radiators or convectors. It is suitable for use in apartments, family houses, and recreational properties. It can also be installed in apartment buildings with independent heating systems.

The controller offers four modes of operation and eight fully programmable time blocks. It is operated via a backlit display and buttons located around it. The display shows the current or desired temperature and can be locked. Additionally, it is possible to connect a wired temperature sensor.

Thanks to the built-in sensor, the controller measures the room temperature and maintains it at the selected level.

Modes of Operation

Comfort Mode

The temperature is maintained at the set value. The desired value is set using the +/- buttons.

Protection Mode

A mode suitable for unoccupied spaces in winter. It protects the system from freezing. Factory set to 8 °C.

Economy Mode

Saves energy. When activated, it sets the temperature to a pre-set economy value. Factory set to 16 °C.

Automatic Mode

Switches between comfort and economy temperature values based on 8 programmable time blocks.
