The SSC161.05HF electromotoric actuator is designed for controlling two-port and three-port valves in the VVP45, VXP45 and VMP45 series in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Typical applications include chilled ceilings, variable air volume (VAV) units and fan coil units. The actuator is also suitable for retrofitting Landis & Gyr valves (VVG45, VXG45, X3i) using the ASK30 adaptor.

The actuator requires no tools for installation – it is attached directly to the valve using a ¾" union nut. Automatic stroke calibration takes place immediately after the power supply is connected.
