The ExCos-A electric converter and meter is used for measuring humidity and temperature in HVAC systems, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, offshore facilities, and other types of industries. The high protection class IP 66 allows for use even in challenging conditions and ATEX zones 1, 2, 21, 22.
The measured values are displayed on an integrated backlit display, which can be detached. The display can be used to parameterize the converter.
When using the product outdoors, a shield against external influences must be used.
Passive sensors suitable for Ex environments must be connected to the converter. Applicable sensors must meet one of the following characteristics:
