GSH-HFC(R1234ze)2.5K is a pre-calibrated sensor module for the E2639-GSH detector, designed for measuring R1234ze refrigerant in the range of 0...2500 ppm. It connects via an M12 connector and can be replaced while live without opening the detector housing. The integrated calibration calendar monitors the date of the next calibration, while the calibration itself can be carried out separately from the installed E2639 main unit using the SSC configurator.
The GSH-HFC(R1234ze) sensor is intended for monitoring R1234ze refrigerant leaks and is suitable for commercial and industrial applications such as air conditioning systems, heat pumps, chillers, air dryers, freezers or dispensing stands. The device is designed for reliable detection of this next-generation refrigerant with a very low GWP, thereby supporting compliance with safety and environmental standards in the given environment.


R1234ze is a synthetic refrigerant with a faint ethereal odour, developed as an environmentally friendly replacement for traditional refrigerants with a high global warming potential. Unlike its predecessors, it has an extremely low GWP and a very short atmospheric lifetime. Although it is classified as highly flammable, in the event of a leak in enclosed spaces it can reach explosive concentrations, and its presence therefore requires reliable detection.
The smart sensor offers a major advantage during calibration – the entire process can be carried out separately from the installed detector. While the E2639-GSH main unit remains in operation at the installation site, the GSH sensor module can be removed and calibrated independently – at the distributor’s premises, the integrator’s premises or directly at Evikon MCI. This is done using the dedicated SSC configurator, through which the module is connected to a computer. Once calibrated, the GSH module simply plugs back in via the M12 connector – without opening the instrument housing, without complicated procedures and without downtime for the entire installation.

Each sensor package includes the manufacturer’s original calibration certificate in English, confirming measurement accuracy and proper operation at the time of leaving the factory.
