Evikon E2639-HFC(R134a) is a detector designed for monitoring high concentrations of R134a refrigerant in the air. The device is equipped with a temperature-compensated sensor that ensures reliable detection and stable measurement, and it is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with IP65 protection. The E2639 features three SPDT relays with a maximum load of 250 VAC 5 A. Two relays are used for so-called two-stage detection. The third relay indicates a sensor fault. Communication with higher-level systems is provided by the RS485 Modbus RTU digital interface, complemented by two 4–20 mA analogue outputs. The version with a Wi-Fi module allows wireless connection of a smartphone or tablet for configuration and calibration via a web interface – with no need to install an app. In addition, the device includes four LEDs and an audible alarm, which immediately alert operators to an exceeded set limit directly at the installation site – without the need to monitor a remote control system.
The E2639-HFC detector is intended for monitoring R134a refrigerant leaks in environments such as plant rooms, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, refrigerant stores, or other installations where refrigerant concentrations need to be monitored.
