E2639-GSH is a universal detector designed for monitoring various gases in the air according to the selected sensor. It is designed for use with interchangeable sensors, which are not included in the package and must be ordered separately. The device is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with IP65 protection, suitable even for demanding conditions, and features three SPDT relays with a maximum load of 250 VAC / 5 A. Two relays are used for two-stage gas concentration alarm signalling, while the third relay indicates a sensor fault. For communication with higher-level systems, a digital RS485 Modbus RTU interface is available, complemented by two 4–20 mA analogue outputs. The device also includes four LEDs and an audible alarm to provide immediate warning when the set limits are exceeded directly at the installation site.

The smart sensor offers a major advantage during calibration – the entire process can be carried out separately from the installed detector. While the main E2639-GSH unit remains in operation at the installation site, the GSH sensor module can be removed and calibrated independently – at the distributor’s premises, the integrator’s premises, or directly at the manufacturer Evikon MCI. This is done using the dedicated SSC configurator, through which the module is connected to a computer. Once calibrated, the GSH module simply slides back in via the M12 connector – with no need to open the device enclosure, no complicated procedures, and no downtime for the entire installation.
The E2639 detector combines the advantages of an autonomous safety device and an intelligent communication node. It is designed for seamless integration with fire alarm systems (EPS) and offers a wide range of outputs for comprehensive control:


The E2639 is equipped with three M20 cable glands and a dual terminal block for Modbus RTU. The duplicated Modbus RTU terminals simplify and speed up bus wiring for connection to the higher-level system. No more inserting two conductors into a single terminal. Thanks to the M20 cable glands, all required outputs can be connected conveniently.
