GSH-HFC(R407c)2.5K is a pre-calibrated sensor module for the E2639-GSH detector, designed to measure R407c refrigerant in the range of 0...2500 ppm. It connects via an M12 connector and can be hot-swapped without opening the detector housing. An integrated calibration calendar monitors the date of the next calibration, while the calibration itself can be carried out separately from the installed E2639 main unit using the SSC configurator.
The GSH-HFC(R407c) sensor is intended for monitoring R407c refrigerant leaks in environments such as plant rooms, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, refrigerant stores, or other installations where refrigerant concentrations need to be monitored. The device provides early leak detection, helping to minimise the risks associated with refrigerant leakage and protect both the environment and the equipment.

R407c is a synthetic refrigerant commonly used in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. It is a blend of three hydrofluorocarbon gases that ensure efficient heat transfer. Although it is non-flammable, R407c leakage can contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and affect air quality. Monitoring R407c leaks is essential for ensuring equipment safety and protecting the environment.
The smart sensor offers a major advantage during calibration – the entire process can be carried out separately from the installed detector. While the E2639-GSH main unit remains in operation at the installation site, the GSH sensor module can be removed and calibrated independently – at the distributor’s premises, the integrator’s facility, or directly at the manufacturer Evikon MCI. This is done using the dedicated SSC configurator, through which the module is connected to a computer. Once calibrated, the GSH module simply needs to be plugged back in via the M12 connector – without opening the device housing, without complicated procedures, and without any downtime for the entire installation.

Each sensor package includes the original manufacturer’s calibration certificate in English, confirming the accuracy and correctness of the measurements at the time of manufacture.
