Download PDFThe Evikon E2630-VOC is a detector designed to monitor the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air. The device uses a semiconductor sensor that provides accurate measurements across a wide range of organic vapours. Thanks to its robust construction and reliable performance, it is suitable for industrial and commercial applications where the safety limits of volatile substances need to be monitored.
The device is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with IP65 protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water. In addition, it features a visual and audible alarm for early warning when VOC concentrations rise. The E2630-VOC is equipped with two SPDT relay outputs, allowing easy integration with ventilation and alarm systems.
The E2630-VOC detector is intended for monitoring volatile organic compounds in industrial and commercial environments such as manufacturing facilities, laboratories, chemical stores, paint shops, and other areas where solvents and other VOCs are used. The device enables early detection of hazardous concentrations of volatile organic compounds, helping to ensure site safety and minimise the risk of fire or health problems associated with exposure to these substances.
Solvent vapours, known as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), are chemical compounds that readily evaporate into the air at normal temperatures. These vapours originate from products such as coatings, thinners, cleaning agents, adhesives, and fuels. VOCs can adversely affect air quality and pose health risks, such as respiratory irritation, headaches, or long-term effects on the nervous system. They also contribute to smog formation and air pollution, increasing the need for their monitoring and control in both industrial and commercial environments.

Every Evikon gas detector package includes a factory-issued calibration certificate. The calibration certificate is in English. Gas concentration measurement is affected by operating temperature and humidity, therefore the detector is calibrated during production with enhanced safety in mind.
