A thermostatic head for controlling room heating to be installed on radiators, convectors, and other heating objects. It precisely regulates the room temperature by comparing the measured and set values. The temperature in the room is measured using an integrated liquid sensor. Naturally, it includes frost protection.

Thanks to the security ring serving as anti-theft protection, it is suitable for public spaces.

The temperature is adjusted by turning the head cover according to the numerical markings. There are two stops available, which allow setting the maximum and minimum temperature to prevent unwanted adjustments. Colour coding aids in better orientation of the turning direction. Additionally, day and night symbols suggest the ideal energy-saving settings for different parts of the day.

Construction

  1. Bellows
  2. Tactile mark for the visually impaired
  3. Locking ring M30x1.5
  4. Liquid-filled sensor
  5. Spring against excessive lift
  6. Blocking max and min temperature with hidden stops

Function

The head responds to changes in room temperature by closing or opening the radiator valve based on the expansion of the liquid in the sensor. If the temperature rises, the liquid in the sensor expands and acts on the bellows. This then acts on the radiator valve and closes it. Conversely, when the temperature drops, the liquid contracts, allowing the valve to open. Thus, the head does not require any additional energy for its operation.

Recommended Temperature

The recommended values are provided within the scope of energy-saving heating. The range of numerical markings includes 4 °C.

  • 5/28 °C - swimming pool
  • 4/24 °C - bathroom
  • 22 °C - study and children's room
  • 3/20 °C - living room, dining room
  • 18 °C - kitchen, hallway
  • 2/16 °C - home workshop, bedroom
  • 1/12 °C - house staircase, entrance hall
  • 6 °C - cellars (frost protection)
