A simple thermostatic head is used to achieve optimal thermal comfort in a room. Based on the set desired temperature value, the head controls the radiator valve, thereby regulating the flow of the medium in the heating body. The thermostatic head operates on the principle of a liquid sensor, which expands the liquid as the temperature rises and pushes on the bellows, closing the valve. When the temperature drops, the function is reversed - the liquid loses volume, allowing the valve to open and the medium to flow in the body.

Separate Temperature Sensor

The head with a separate sensor can be installed wherever the conditions are not suitable for using the standard RTN51 head. The temperature sensor is connected to the thermostatic head via a capillary. The sensor installation is possible according to the following rules:

• Valves from brands Heimeier, Cazzaniga, Oventrop M30 x 1.5, Honeywell-Braukmann, MNG, and TA type TBV-C (without adapter)
• For valves with union nut and thread M30x1.5mm (without adapter)
• Combination with valves from other manufacturers requires a suitable adapter from the AV series...
