The ESBE VTA 570 series thermostatic mixing valve is primarily designed for underfloor heating systems that require protection against scalding from hot water. This protection is necessary both for the piping in the floor and for the floor itself. Alternatively, it can be used for radiator heating, but valves with a higher temperature range are recommended for that purpose.

Valve Function

The valve has an asymmetric flow arrangement. It is also equipped with scald protection – if the cold water supply is interrupted, the valve automatically shuts off the hot water supply.
