The ESBE VTS 520 series thermostatic mixing valve is designed for high flow rates and equally high functionality in domestic hot water distribution connected to systems with solar collectors. Due to the high water temperatures in solar collectors, extremely durable components are absolutely necessary. The thermostatic valve is also suitable in cases where one or more temperature regulation devices are installed on water taps. Additionally, the VTS valve is suitable for domestic hot water installations equipped with HWC (hot water circulation).

Valve Function

The VTS 520 valve has an asymmetric water flow arrangement. It also features a very important characteristic: scald protection from hot water. The principle of operation is that in the event of a cold water supply failure, the hot water supply automatically stops.
