The ESBE VTS 550 series thermostatic mixing valve is designed for high flow rates and equally high functionality in domestic hot water distribution systems connected to solar collectors. Due to the high water temperatures in solar collectors, extremely durable components are absolutely necessary. The thermostatic valve is also suitable in cases where one or more temperature control devices are installed on water taps. Additionally, the VTS valve is suitable for domestic hot water installations equipped with HWC (hot water circulation).

Valve Function

The VTS 550 valve has a symmetrical water flow arrangement. It also includes a very important feature: scald protection from hot water. The principle of operation is that in the event of a cold water supply failure, the hot water supply automatically shuts off.
