The ESBE VTA 370 series thermostatic mixing valve is primarily designed for underfloor heating systems that require protection against scalding from hot water. This protection is necessary both for the piping within the floor and for the floor itself.

This thermostatic valve is also suitable for pre-mixing in domestic hot water systems requiring high flow rates. In this case, it is necessary to install additional mandatory devices on the taps to regulate the water temperature, ensuring protection at the point of use.

The thermostatic valve can also be used for cooling applications.

Valve Function

The valve has an asymmetric flow arrangement. It is also equipped with anti-scald protection – if the cold water supply is interrupted, the valve automatically shuts off the hot water supply.
