The universal remote GSM communicator and controller JABLOTRON GD-04K is designed for controlling appliances (e.g., thermostats) via SMS or by ringing. There are two power inputs available, which can be either status or impulse. For status reporting, there are four inputs that respond to connection with GND. Activation or deactivation of inputs can be reported via SMS, by ringing, or a combination of both methods.

Parameter settings can be configured in several ways:

  • Via SMS messages
  • Using a USB cable (or remotely) in combination with the SW GD-Link 2.0.0 (or higher)

Up to 100 authorised phone numbers can be stored in the GSM communicator.

In case of a power outage, the GD-04K can be supplemented with a backup module, which provides backup for up to 24 hours.

Dear, according to the information I have found, RCS is just another version of the chat app provided by Google for Android phones. It has nothing to do with regular SMS and therefore has no effect on devices like GD-04K.
