The Wilo DrainLift SANI-S.11/M523/1-EF lifting unit is designed for pumping wastewater containing faecal matter in cases where it cannot be discharged to the sewer by gravity, or for backflow-proof drainage where the drainage point is below the backflow level. The unit is compact and ready for immediate connection and commissioning.

The collection tank is both airtight and watertight, with a sloping inlet base. Thanks to the transparent cover and the inspection opening on the non-return valve, maintenance and cleaning are easy. High reliability is ensured by corrosion-resistant materials made of engineering plastics and stainless steel. Major advantages of the unit include high flow rate, large switching volume, thermal motor protection and an autonomous alarm. The liquid level in the tank is measured by a level sensor with an analogue 4...20 mA output.

The lifting station is automatically controlled by the Wilo-Control MS-L control unit. In the event of a fault, the autonomous alarm is activated. Fault signals are transmitted via a volt-free contact. The control unit allows the overrun time to be set. Power is supplied by a 4 m cable with a Schuko plug.

The DrainLift SANI-S.11 is an ideal choice for detached houses and semi-detached houses with uncontrolled wastewater inflow.

Function

Wastewater is fed through pipework into the collection tank of the lifting station. As soon as it reaches the switching volume, the pump starts and pumps the water into the connected discharge pipe. Once the switch-off point is reached, the pump switches off again.

If the liquid level becomes too high, the pump starts and the warning LED on the station begins to flash. The internal audible alarm and the output for collective fault signalling are activated.
