Evikon E2639-H2 is a detector designed for monitoring high concentrations of hydrogen in the air. The device is equipped with a temperature-compensated sensor that ensures reliable detection and stable measurement, and it is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with IP65 protection. The E2639 features three SPDT relays with a maximum load of 250 VAC 5 A. Two relays are used for so-called two-stage detection. The third relay indicates a sensor fault. Communication with higher-level systems is provided via the RS485 Modbus RTU digital interface, supplemented by two 4–20 mA analogue outputs. The version with a Wi-Fi module allows wireless connection of a smartphone or tablet for configuration and calibration via a web interface, with no app installation required. In addition, the device is equipped with four LEDs and an audible alarm, which immediately alert operators to an exceeded set limit directly at the installation site, without the need to monitor a remote control system.
The E2639-LEL(H2) detector is intended for monitoring hydrogen in industrial and commercial environments such as battery charging rooms, server rooms, gas storage facilities, H2 filling stations, and other areas where flammable gases are handled. The device is used for early detection of hazardous hydrogen concentrations, helping to ensure equipment safety and minimise the risk of fire or explosion.

Compared to the standard version, the E2639-WF features an integrated WiFi module that turns calibration and configuration into a matter of minutes – with no tools required and no need to remove the cover. The access point is activated using a magnetic key, and the configuration interface opens in the browser of a phone or tablet, with no need to download any app. The interface is password-protected with separate access levels for end users and integrators, so each user works only within their own section of the settings.
