Evikon E2630-HFC is a detector designed for monitoring the concentration of R410a refrigerant in air. The device uses a semiconductor sensor that provides accurate real-time measurements. R32:

R32 refrigerant, chemically known as difluoromethane, is a modern refrigerant used primarily in air-conditioning systems and heat pumps. Its main advantage is its lower global warming potential (GWP) compared to traditional refrigerants such as R410A, making it a more environmentally friendly choice. R32 also offers higher energy efficiency, which helps reduce operating costs and the overall carbon footprint. Thanks to its properties, a smaller quantity of refrigerant can be used to achieve the same performance.

One of the disadvantages of R32 is its mild flammability, which requires increased caution during handling and installation. Despite this, it is considered safe provided the relevant standards and regulations are observed.

Calibration certificate

Every Evikon gas detector package includes a factory calibration certificate. The calibration certificate is in English. Gas concentration measurement is affected by operating temperature and humidity, therefore calibration during detector manufacture is carried out with enhanced safety in mind.
